The parents of a 12-year-old black girl have sued her school after a group of white classmates allegedly wrapped a rope around her neck and “violently jerked” her to the ground, leaving burns in her skin that are documented in graphic photos included in the complaint.
The incident, which reportedly left the girl with a “severe and painful” rope cut on her neck, has brought national attention to Live Oak classical school, a largely white private school in Waco, Texas, that has been accused of having a history of bullying problems.
I see three different ways how this attack could have easily resulted in death. It is way beyond a bullying incident and I wonder why the school and not the police is making the decisions how to proceed

She was the only black student out of a whole white school, and apparently she has been bullied from the start. There is no way it was an accident, since one of the boys who was involved in this, was involved in another incident of bullying her. They didn’t try to help her up after the rope incident either, or help her at all. The family should also sue the kids parents. Just my opinion.
The school did nothing to the boys, did nothing to help her, and never contacted the mother.
They deserve to get sued, and I hope the family wins. Fuck this school.

This is absolutely disgusting, that poor girl did nothing wrong. And the schools principal should be fired, along with anyone else involved with this. This was gross negligence on the schools part and they deserve to be sued, as do the parents of the kids involved. This goes beyond bullying, this is assault, even attempted murder.
And yet @justwhitefeminismthings you choose to blame an entire race. Hatred like this is learned, it’s not inherit due to the color of your skin. Racism will not go away if we “just stop talking about it” but it will go away when people stop putting different races against each other. Treat this as it is, a prime example of why this hatred needs to end. Not as a reason to hate an entire race, that doesn’t solve anything.
Anyone that could have been remotely responsible or in power over the way it was handled. We as a nation need to punish these sort of actions harshly. We need to send strong messages that racism isn’t fucking okay. This isnt the 20th century anymore. You cannot getaway with this
